We’ve bumped our regular meeting time ahead to 9am to accommodate the number of speakers who wish to address Council during the scheduled public hearing. This will be a long meeting.
Agenda highlights
Oakmont ASP & Land Use Bylaw Amendments (Public Hearing)
This is the public hearing and potentially second/third readings of amendments to the Oakmont Area Structure Plan and Land Use Bylaw as they relate to the old Holes site, next to Shops on Boudreau. There are 72 registered speakers for the public hearing, with each speaker granted 5 minutes. Typically, Administration presents the amendments before we open the public hearing. Because of the large number of speakers, we will hold questions for speakers/the proponent/administration until all presentations are completed. My best guess is that we’ll listen to speakers until noon, possibly with a short break around 10:30, then reconvene for the remainder after a lunch break.
This is a brief and incomplete overview of our meetings, with my personal comments sprinkled in - In no way are my opinions representative of the official direction of council or the City of St. Albert. Please let me know of any typos or errors.
